New Floor Joist and Flooring – Gresford

The original floor joists, basement and floorboards were damp and rotten, we replaced the old joists installed new supporting beams and a new staircase. Ventilation in the basement was improved and walls tanked. Externally new Aco drains were installed to run surface water away from the building.

Wrap around extension – Swansea

Ground floor rear part of stone house was demolished and a 10m x 5m extension with lantern lights and high ceiling to match existing house. Extension involved extensive work to stabilize the upstairs of the original building including the installation of 7 large Universal Beams.

Hip to Gable conversion, extension and full house renovation - Gower, Swansea

A rear hip to gable conversion on a 1950s bungalow, creating an upstairs bedroom, bathroom and study, along with a full renovation and partial reconfiguration of the bungalow and and additional 4m x 4m flat roof extension. The garage was also extended to 8m x 5m.

External Painting and Chimney Repointing - Gresford

This was a project on an older property in Gresford, We repointed both chimneys one of which was in a pretty poor state, Timber repairs on the oak frame and full painting. Render was treated for mould during preparation and high quality paints used on render and woodwork. Various roof repairs were carried out and the Garage roof was cleared both sides of a considerable amount of moss build up.

Garage Conversion - Connah's Quay

This was a nice project to repurpose a garage to a useable room. The work was required to comply with current building regs as it is to be a habitable room. Garage door removed, and replaced with matched brick work and window a side window and internal doorway through to hallway of existing house. Insulated concrete screed floor to raise to floor height to that of the rest of the house. Insulated stud walls and full loft insulation. Extension of heating system to include new room and electrical work. All carried out by ourselves. The Customer was left with Just decorating to do (which was at their request).

Internal Bifold Doors - Marford

A nice smaller project, to knock through kitchen to Living room and install bifold doors. New lintel put in place, Radiator moved and electrical sockets moved. The customer was left with just decorating to do.

Repointing and Rendering - Bretton

The customer had water ingress from the windows on the gable end and we discovered a previous attempt to repoint had been done using silicone. Full rake out and repoint of the gable end and reseal the windows. Around the front door the customer wanted the blown render removed and redone to include covering the brick pillars for a flat rendered look.
